SAN ANTONIO, TX — In a thrilling, high-scoring semifinal matchup in the Texas Collegiate Athletic Conference (TCAC), the Palo Alto College Palominos emerged victorious over Northwest Vista College, clinching a spot in the TCAC Championship game. The Palominos will face off against San Antonio College on Saturday, April 13 at 6:00 PM at Northeast Lakeview College.
Palo Alto delivered a dominant offensive performance, defeating Northwest Vista 114-104 in a shootout behind standout efforts from several key players.
Julian Lacivita-Jenkins led the scoring surge with a jaw-dropping 35 points, shooting an incredible 87% from the field (13-of-15) and 83% from beyond the arc (5-of-6). Jenkins added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal in a performance that electrified the crowd and anchored the Palominos' attack.
Marco Camacho was equally lethal, dropping 25 points while going 8-of-15 from the field and 4-of-6 from three. Camacho also contributed across the board with 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals, showcasing his all-around game.
