Palominos Gallop to Dominant 96-64 Victory, Secure Top Seed for TCAC Tournament

SAN ANTONIO, TX — The Palo Alto College Palominos left no doubt who sits atop the conference standings Tuesday morning, dismantling St. Philip's College 96-64 to wrap up a stellar regular season.
With the win, PAC finishes conference play with a dominant 12-1 record, officially securing the #1 seed heading into the Texas Collegiate Athletic Conference (TCAC) Tournament.
From the opening tip, the Palominos played with the intensity that has become their hallmark this season. They jumped out to an early double-digit lead and never looked back, turning defensive stops into a relentless transition attack that St. Philip's simply couldn't contain.

Full-Throttle Execution
It was a masterclass in 40-minute basketball. PAC's "smothering" defensive schemes forced consistent turnovers, fueling a fast-break offense that kept the scoreboard spinning.
Whether it was the half-court suffocating pressure or the clinical finishing in the paint, the Palominos remained in total control from start to finish.
The victory serves as a definitive statement as the program transitions from a successful regular season to the high-stakes environment of postseason play.

The Road to a Repeat
With the regular-season title in hand, the Palominos now shift their focus to the TCAC Conference Tournament.
After a season characterized by culture, accountability, and sheer toughness, PAC enters the bracket as the team to beat.
The goal is clear: Secure back-to-back championships.
If this 32-point blowout is any indication of their current form, the rest of the TCAC has its work cut out for them.
The Palominos aren't just winning; they're dominating, and they look more than ready to defend their crown.
