PAC Athletics Celebrates Faculty — and Sweeps the Competition

PAC Athletics proudly hosted its annual Faculty & Staff Appreciation Nights during the final three home indoor games of the season, and our professors absolutely showed up and showed out!

For basketball and volleyball, these nights were about more than conference standings. Our student-athletes nominated faculty and staff members who have made a meaningful impact on their academic journeys. Those honorees were invited to attend the games and be recognized for the incredible work they do in shaping student success.

Before the action began, players presented their nominees with flowers and handwritten thank-you cards — heartfelt tokens of appreciation for the countless hours, encouragement, and dedication poured into them every single day.

And let's just say this — PAC faculty love them some sports! Nearly every nominee packed the stands, soaking in the recognition while cheering on their students. The energy in the building was unmatched as professors watched their scholars turn into competitors right before their eyes.

Panthers Rise to the Occasion

With their mentors in attendance, PAC's indoor teams made sure the night ended in celebration.

Facing off in major conference match ups against Austin Community College, all three teams seized the moment — and the wins. Basketball and volleyball delivered commanding victories, defending home court in impressive fashion and making their teachers proud. It was the perfect combination: academic excellence in the stands and athletic excellence on the court.

The celebration isn't over yet!

There is still one more Faculty Appreciation Night scheduled this semester — and this time, it's on the diamond. Our PAC Baseball team will host their faculty nominees on March 19th at 3 PM as they take on Dallas College Mountain View at Harlandale ISD Memorial Baseball Stadium. We're expecting another special afternoon filled with appreciation, school pride, and competitive baseball — and we want YOU there! Let's pack the stands to support our student-athletes and the incredible faculty & staff members who help make their success possible.
