Palo Alto College Unveils 2026 Summer Skills Camps and Showcases

SAN ANTONIO, TX - The summer heat in San Antonio is about to meet its match—because Palo Alto College Athletics is turning up the intensity with a full lineup of 2026 Summer Skills Camps and Showcases designed to bring out the best in young athletes across the region. From hardwood to diamond, the Palominos are opening their doors to the next generation, offering hands-on instruction, competitive reps, and a true taste of college-level training—all led by Palo Alto College's own coaches and players.

Hoops Are Heating Up

The action tips off in early June with the Women's Basketball Skills Camp, where players ages 10–18 can step onto the court and develop their game "the Palomino way." With sessions split by age group, middle school athletes (10–14) will hit the floor from 4–6 PM, while high school players (15–18) take over from 6–8 PM on June 3rd and June 17th.

Each session emphasizes fundamentals, skill-building, and live competition—perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to each session at Abraham Kazen Middle School.

The momentum continues into July with the Men's Basketball Skills Camp, set for July 15th and July 29th. Following the same structure and mission, these sessions promise fast-paced drills, skill development, and competitive energy that pushes athletes to elevate their performance.

Set, Spike, and Shine

Volleyball athletes won't want to miss their moment either. On July 22nd, the Women's Volleyball Skills Camp brings a focused, high-energy training environment to the court. With middle school and high school sessions split just like basketball, participants will sharpen fundamentals, learn advanced techniques, and compete in a supportive yet challenging setting.

Step Into the Spotlight of the Diamond

For baseball players looking to take the next step, the Men's Baseball Summer Showcases offer something even bigger: exposure.

Held on June 10th and July 1st at South San High School Baseball Stadium, these showcases are built for serious athletes ages 15–19 ready to perform in front of Palo Alto College's coaching staff. Participants will undergo a full evaluation—including batting practice, fielding drills, base running times, and pitching velocity tracking.

Every rep counts, and every stat is recorded. Athletes will receive their performance data after the events, giving them valuable insight into their game and a chance to stand out.

Built for Every Athlete

One thing remains constant across all camps: accessibility and opportunity.
At just $40 per camper, these sessions are designed to be open to all skill levels while delivering high-quality instruction and a true college athletics experience.

What You Need to Know Before You Go

  • PAC Summer Programs Behavior Agreement
