Coach Randall Green brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for basketball to his role as the New Head Men's Basketball Coach at Palo Alto College. A former standout player, Green honed his skills at the prestigious Oak Hill Academy, renowned for producing elite basketball talent. He continued to display his abilities as a member of the All-Air Force Basketball Team and competed in two Pro-Am leagues, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled and versatile player. Prior to joining Palo Alto College, Coach Green served at IMG Academy in Bradenton Florida as part of the Athletic and Personal Development team. In this role, he worked closely with some of the nation's top athletes. His integrated approach to development emphasizes not only physical and technical growth but also mental resilience and personal excellence.
Coach Green’s coaching journey includes valuable experience with three prominent AAU organizations: Liberty Edge, where he coached and trained under former NBA and University of Illinois standout Marcus Liberty; All Day Elite and Nike Pro-Skills where he contributed to developing young talent and played a key role in helping secure college opportunities for multiple players.
In addition to his basketball expertise, Coach Green is a proud veteran who served 24 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 2016. His military background has instilled in him a disciplined, team-oriented approach that translates seamlessly to the basketball court.
Coach Green is excited to lead the Palo Alto College men's basketball program, aiming to inspire student-athletes to achieve excellence in competition, academics, and character.
